This is a shiny Friday in July in Paris. What better than a new rooftop to

discover!

I throw my heart on a new place that is being talked about at the moment:

the rooftop of the Hotel Mercure Paris Bastille Saint Antoine, at 64 Rue

Crozatier (12th). ATTENTION, it would seem that it is ephemeral.

Arrival at the foot of the hotel, a lovely person informed me that if I

come to the rooftop bar, I need bills because the bar does not take credit

card. Perfect, I know a zipper close.

I take this opportunity to say a little prayer to find a seat because for a

rooftop in Paris on a Friday night when it’s beautiful, it’s a challenge!

It is 18:30, no tail, it reassures me at first. The reception is very

friendly. I take the lift and finished the last floor walk.

I arrive and wahou this is super cute. Beautiful teak coffee tables, fake

lawn full of colorful cushions. I sit in a comfortable chair and good

decides to taste the cocktail of the moment: Cointreau Fizz (12 €). The

cocktail is good.

My buddy finally arrives. We decided to take a bottle of rosé (30 €!). The

music is not too strong and the sun attacks in our faces! The view is not

exceptional but it is not a problem as the place is very relaxing.

Asian tapas menu is proposed by John Weng: everything is fresh and

delicate. We choose two skewers Bruce Weng (prawns € 7) and Hanoi rolls (7

€ too).

The sun sets and the rooftop fills. The few tables (7-8) are taken, and

people remain standing.

This rooftop is far from being oppressive. We spend a very pleasant moment

before leaving around 22:30 (closing).

Please call before coming to make sure that the bar is open – number

01.42.46.27.81.
